High Standards of Veterinary Care

AAHA Accreditation -

To be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), our practice must demonstrate an exceptional level of care and service. AAHA’s rigorous standards cover every aspect of a companion animal hospital, which means that the veterinary services you receive from an AAHA-accredited hospital are among the finest in the industry.

To maintain our status as an AAHA-accredited practice, our team voluntarily undergoes a periodic, comprehensive evaluation. We are judged according to our level of compliance with over 900 standards. We are proud to be an AAHA-accredited practice and believe it keeps us on the leading edge, focused on providing you and your pet with the quality and range of services you expect and deserve.

Examination, Dental Care, and Medical Records Standards

Annual exams, immunizations, and dental care are the key preventive services we provide to keep your pet healthy. To meet AAHA standards, we keep thorough medical records, from your pet’s first visit through his or her senior years.

Laboratory, Radiology, and Pharmacy Standards

Access to the right equipment and services mean we are able to accurately diagnose and evaluate health problems and begin treatment as soon as possible. As required by AAHA standards, we take and develop X-rays in our facilities. In addition, we maintain a complete on-site pharmacy, providing the medication your pet needs when it is needed.

Anesthesiology, Veterinary Surgery, and Nursing Care Standards

When your pet’s condition calls for sedation, anesthesia, or surgery, our professional team provides a safe and comfortable environment. We administer anesthesia and pain medication and perform surgery in a manner that protects your pet from the risk of post-surgical infection and will make him or her as comfortable as possible. Our team follows strict guidelines for the proper care and handling of your pet before, during, and after surgery.

Staying on Top

We meet many other AAHA standards in the areas of client service, leadership, and safety. To stay abreast of the newest and best in veterinary care services, the doctors and staff regularly attend continuing education seminars. In short, we work hard to create a safe and caring environment for you and your pet.
